Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in combat sports. Aspen Ladd trained in BJJ, kickboxing, wrestling and boxing before her debut as an amateur at WCFC aged 18. Ladd later went on to win three fights in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents had been defeated in the first minute. She went back to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous verdict. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was defeated by Aspen by unanimous decision. It left a blemish on her record as an amateur. Ladd recovered from the loss by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the fight in first round by TKO. She won her next fight against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission and went up to the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen employed the strong abilities she acquired in wrestling to defeat McGill. She won her bout via the TKO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). Aspen was then up against Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) at an "catchweight"(138.1lb), because Ladd did not make the weight. Aspen, however, dominated Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina through ground-and-pound and won the TKO round later in the second. When she next faced Tonya Evinger in UFC 229, her victory was more spectacular. Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the opening round. She also received the bonus for performance of night. She fought her first big fight in her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd won the night's fight bonus, after both fighters had an intense back and forth battle. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak within 16 seconds. She bounced back and finished Yana Kunitskaya after the third round at UFC in ESPN 7. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. She lost by unanimous decision.
