Scarlett Johansson - American Actress and singer (born in NYC on 22 November 1984) The versatility of her work as an actress has brought her much acclaim in everything from the dramas of the past to suspenseful films and even adventures. Johansson, the daughter of an architect and producer, was born as a child in New York City. The twin brothers Hunter and she were the youngest siblings. By the time she was seven years old, her love of acting had grown. She began to audition for commercials. She was enrolled at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute shortly after, and later was a student at the Professional Children's School, Manhattan to continue her training. At age eight she appeared with Ethan Hawke in the Off-Broadway production Sophistry, and at nine she made her first film appearance with Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson played the lead role as a character in Just Cause (1995), before making her big break in the film Manny & Lo - a story of two sisters and orphans, who manage to get away. She next earned praise for her performance as a teenage girl who suffered a disfiguring accident in The Horse Whisperer (1998) and gained more attention as cynical teen exiled Rebecca on the set of Ghost World (2001). Renee Felice Smith started her career in entertainment at a young age. As a child she was attracted to performing. Smith's parents supported her in getting her first role in the acting world in the age of six. She starred in a TV commercial for Dannon yogurt. Like many actresses who are new have done, she decided to further develop her talents in the theatre. While she made her on-stage debut with Wildflower she was also working with various theatre projects in the USA. She was a graduate of the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
